The ICC Men’s ODI Cricket World Cup 2023 is set to begin on October 5, 2023, with the host nation India taking on Afghanistan in the opening match. The second match of the tournament will see Pakistan face the Netherlands at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on October 6, 2023. This will be the first game of the tournament for both the teams, and also the first time they will meet in a World Cup since 2003.
